Commercial Charcoal Wood Whole Hog BBQ Pits

Designed to meet the daily cooking needs of our commercial customers, these units are very user-friendly and can be fueled with charcoal or wood coals. They are built extra tuff, with heavy-duty under-carriages on the Caster Wheel Versions. The same Heavy Duty Under Carriage is used on the Axle/Towable Versions by adding the Leaf Springs, 3.5K easy lube Axle, 13” Aluminum Rims, 13” Radial Tires and Stainless-Steel Side Shelves. These units are equipped with huge barn style doors giving you full access for loading coals and unloading coal ashes. The bottom box is built with 1/8” plate material and a lighter 14g Hood with heavy-angle iron framing. All intake and exhaust vents are adjustable, giving you great air control over your coals, plus intake vents are wind-shielded to help on those nasty weather days. These units come standard with our slide-in A-Shield(s), which turn it from a direct heat cooking style to an in-direct cooking style, allowing you to smoke cook similar too how offset smokers perform. The A-Shield(s) slide into the upper charcoal pan rack setting, allowing you to in-direct cook or you can even move your charcoal pans to the upper charcoal pan rack setting for closer direct cooking, needed for steaks and burgers. We do offer an Optional Turning Grate System for rotating whole hogs 180 degrees during cooking. This will remove the built-in upper charcoal pan rack, but you can add it back with a removable version of the Upper Charcoal Pan Rack (UCPR).
